Derbyshire Probation Trust Board chair, Gillian Wilmot, said,

"We are delighted that Jo hhas joined us to help take the Trust forward.  Jo is an excellent appointment who combines an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the best probation practice with experience in adult social care and commissioning.  We are certain her skills and experience will greatly benefit the Trust and ensure it will be well placed to face the challenges that the future will bring."

Ms Mead said,

"My work with Derbyshire starts from an enviably strong position.  It has a skilled and experienced workforce where people are dedicated to reducing reoffending and the protection of the public.  I am looking forward to getting to know the teams in Derbyshire who work together to achieve such good results."
