Probation Board

The overall responsibility for the Probation Service in Derbyshire is vested in the Derbyshire Probation Trust Board, made up of the Chief Executive, a Chairperson and Non Executives, who reside in the County and have been selected for their experience and commitment to improving our community.  The Board meets regularly and you will find forthcoming meeting agendas, dates and locations of meetings, and past meeting Minutes on the Meetings and Reports page.

The Board also provides a voice for the local community in the running of the Probation Service in Derbyshire.

As the employer of over 325 staff, the Board must deliver against an annual plan that follows national objectives and is supported by a nationally agreed budget.

Derbyshire Board’s vision is for Derbyshire Probation ‘To be an excellent organisation providing local probation services to the highest possible standard.’
